A New Head On The Block (Poetry)

What will you do next, Mister Trump
Now you’ve landed the job with a thump —
Do you still really think
Clinton should be in clink
And all Muslims should go take a jump?

Are you still set on building that wall —
It’s a mad kind of scheme, after all
Who will pay for the bricks
If the crazy plan sticks
When it’s sure Trumpty Dumpty will fall?

Money can only take you so far —
Best hang on to that dollar-sign star
When the going gets tough
And your ball’s in the rough
That old boardroom’s much safer, by far.
