Castles In The Air (Poetry)
10th March 2026
I have been building
strange elaborate
constructions ever
since I first found my
imagination
Those high airy rooms
contain more riches
than a millionaire
who lives in this world
could wildly conceive
For fantasy has
no earthly limits
cannot be chained to
any law except
Reason’s decision
At times even that
undermines logic
the improbable
seems almost likely —
has glittering walls
rising up past clouds
a fabulous view
impossibly wide
and never quite true —
an architect’s dream
strange elaborate
constructions ever
since I first found my
imagination
Those high airy rooms
contain more riches
than a millionaire
who lives in this world
could wildly conceive
For fantasy has
no earthly limits
cannot be chained to
any law except
Reason’s decision
At times even that
undermines logic
the improbable
seems almost likely —
has glittering walls
rising up past clouds
a fabulous view
impossibly wide
and never quite true —
an architect’s dream
