Ding dong bell
poor pussy seems unwell.
She’s looking rather thin
and mewing to come in.

All skin and bone — no fat
on such a well-bred pussy cat.
So, what could be the cause ?
Bless her whiskers and her paws!

Such a creature does no harm —
hear her purring soft and warm.
We should rescue her today —
you’re quite welcome, Puss, to stay.
