Half In, Half Out Of Focus (Poetry)

Distinctly blurred, that photograph
but really it turned out all right
for the moment, too, is fuzzed in memory —
an instant only partly caught
yet leaving an impression —
living shapes against the light
movement turning uncomposed
half-captured action brought
not-quite-vividly to mind because/despite
the obvious endearing imperfection.
