Love In Winter (Poetry)

Condensation
running down the window panes
forming pools of passion from out breathing.
Tight-drawn curtains
shutting out the grey-lit day
and all the cold world’s clamour
went unheeded.
Non-stop music
as our favourite records spun
endlessly and still I hear those echoes
Now we’re parted
seasons pass and melt the snows
of Spring but my heart sees only Winter.
