No Sign of Prevention — the Cruelty Continues

She’s shrieking now —
a banshee wail
no reason can
her spite curtail
she’s overwrought
her patience stretched
with ugly screeching
spitting threats

The woman’s mental —
quite deranged
her infant children
fear-contained
they scream and cry
but no one hears
the dream of rescue
disappears

This monster-mother
loves her phone
unwanted offspring
play alone
she’s busy texting
every day
she hates her kids —
they’re in the way

There’s no escape
no quick release
no action from
the child-Police
no charity
checks out their home
nobody cares —
they’re on their own
