White Page (Poetry)
21st April 2013
(From The White Poems)
A whole page bare of life except
for one tree alone — off-centre
shaken free of snow and placed
left of its sun-thrown shadow
twice its size
spread out grey bones on white
claiming a cold still space
not quite
in the middle of nowhere.
