Who I Used To Be (Poetry)

08th February 2026
I barely know her
she’s a stranger now
caught on camera
snapped in her heyday
just passing on through

turning some corner
no clue where it was
or who took the shot
careless and candid
a blur out of time

those clothes give away
a seventies vibe —
flares swinging, wild hair
impossible platforms
a young jaunty air ...

One archived moment
a retro peepshow
blasé attitude
blind to the future
written in our stars

The photo is me
I’m pretty much sure
that’s just how I was
back when we lived for
fun.            How fashions change
